Stampede knitting

Every year I try to enter something in the Calgary Stampede Arts and Crafts Fair.  This year I entered Miranda's Cirrus Sweater and my Chinese Bumble Bee socks.

The Cirrus Sweater you've all seen but the Chinese Bumble Bees are a new thing.  I bought the yarn in China on my Chinese Yarn Crawl and knit the socks on the plane home.  But they were never finished until I added the embroidered bumble bees.  They are actually the same size, I don't know why they look so goofy in the picture.  I love how they turned out, but of course I didn't win anything.  Unlike my talented daughter who took the blue ribbon for her drawing.
