From Seoul we flew to Fukuoka to visit the other Mormon Japanese temple. We took the bus to the temple but afterwards one of the other patrons offered us a ride back to our hotel.
The Fukoka temple was built in 2000. We did a little century jumping as we visited a Buddhist temple built in 940 A.D. We took an early flight back to Tokyo and, as we had some time to kill, we walked to the historic Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. This Buddhist temple sits on beautiful grounds. They celebrated their 1000 anniversary in 1938! Wow. That's old.
Even the turtle dozing area looks like a turtle...
Epic adventure.
Time to go home.
