So you'll probably remember the
Whirlwind Maritime Tour 2009. We had such a great time out there that we've been trying to find a way to take the whole family. Ed lucked into a seat sale and we spent the last 10 days of August showing the kids around Atlantic Canada.
First and foremost on the agenda was to find the elusive and obscure graveyard where lie Ed's ancestors who first came over from Scotland. Notice any difference in these pictures?

| Do not be deceived. This is not a hotel swimming pool in the Carribean with the ocean in the background. It is the saltwater pool in the Bay of Fundy National Park. Trust me, definitely Canadian temperature water, brrr... |

Sorry about the picture overload. But enjoy it because this post has taken me about 5 hours to create! No thanks to goofy blogger and the snail-like internet connection in Quebec City. Yes, Quebec City. Je m'amuse chez le Chateau Laurier au Quebec. A bientot!

Great photos! And my girls love Aquamarine too! Totally got the reference!
You are my hero for taking your kids on these great trips. We took ours to Maui in August and I am still trying to find the emotional strength to write up a summary that doesn't sound like an embittered "pearls before swine" rant. I have solidified that *vacation* and *with kids* are mutually exclusive concepts!
