I had a hankering to finish something. Some of the ladies in my knitting group were making these, so I just had to make one. The cotton yarn is supposed to be self-striping, but it neglected to self-stripe on those short rows. Yarn, like children and husbands, doesn't always do what it is told.

That does it for me. If yarn doesn't do what it's told, I'll have nothing to do with it. I get enough of that from my kids!
